WhatsApp bots for businesses in Israel — a 2026 comparison
A WhatsApp bot for a business in Israel is now one of three kinds: an AI agent that answers from the business's own information and books appointments (Ariko, DanAI, Meta Business Agent), a platform for flows, broadcasts and teams (Gambot, WATI, respond.io, ManyChat), or WhatsApp Business's free automated messages. Each one briefly, with price and source.

The options, one by one
Ariko is first because this is its site. The rest are grouped by kind: AI agents first, then the platforms, and last the free tool already inside the app.
1. Ariko
- What it is:
- An AI agent in Hebrew and English that answers customers on WhatsApp and in the business's website chat, only from the business's own information — what you entered, files you uploaded and website pages you approved. It books, cancels and moves appointments in Google Calendar, and offers to pass anything it does not know to a member of your team.
- Connection:
- The official WhatsApp platform, through a Meta-verified partner. A number already on the WhatsApp Business app stays, and the app on your phone keeps working.
- Price:
- Free $0 to build and test — No WhatsApp connection. WhatsApp and website chat from Start $99 a month (1,000 messages), Plus $149, Pro $199 and Max $399, before VAT, charged in shekels. Only messages the business sends count, and Meta's message charges are included.
- Worth knowing:
- One Google Calendar per business; no broadcast campaigns to lists, no Instagram automation and no group classes with a seat limit.
2. Meta Business Agent
- What it is:
- Meta's own AI agent, switched on from the Tools tab of the WhatsApp Business app. WhatsApp's Help Center documents connecting Google Calendar and Google Drive, and a list of chats that go to a person.
- Availability:
- Per the Help Center, "currently only available in limited countries to select businesses", with a waitlist; not all languages are supported, and the language is set by the business's phone number. We found no Meta source saying whether Israel and Hebrew are included — look for "AI agent" in the Tools tab.
- Price:
- Meta One business plans, from $14.99 a month (Essential), include "more access" to Meta Business Agent, per Meta.
3. DanAI
- What it is:
- Israeli AI agents that answer customers on WhatsApp, and as add-ons on Facebook, Instagram and website chat. Per its site: answers from the business's information, books meetings in Google Calendar, hands over to a person, Hebrew and English, and transcribes voice messages.
- Price:
- ₪500 a month for the base plan (WhatsApp); Facebook and Instagram, integrations and website chat are +₪200 a month each. 14-day trial. We did not find whether the prices include VAT.
4. Gambot
- What it is:
- An Israeli WhatsApp Business API platform that describes itself as an official Meta partner. You build bots and flows by drag and drop, without code, and it has knowledge-base AI, a CRM, broadcasts, appointment scheduling, telephony and invoicing.
- Price:
- ₪179 a month before VAT on the basic plan (300 conversations a month, no human support), ₪359 on Premium (1,000 new conversations) and ₪645 on the organisations plan. A conversation is one person over 24 hours; AI use draws on a credit allowance in each plan. One-month trial without a credit card.
5. WATI
- What it is:
- A team inbox, broadcasts, chatbots and Click-to-WhatsApp ads on the official connection, with AI agents called Astra.
- Price:
- Growth $59 and Pro $119 a month billed annually; messages are charged on top, Astra is an add-on priced separately, and an extra WhatsApp number is $29 a month.
- Existing number:
- Per WATI, yes — but you delete the WhatsApp account on that number before connecting.
6. respond.io
- What it is:
- A multichannel conversation platform for teams, with AI agents, workflows and integrations.
- Price:
- Starter $79 and Growth $159 a month billed yearly, by monthly active contacts. Per respond.io, WhatsApp fees are not included in any plan, and the pricing page offers special pricing for Israeli businesses through sales.
7. ManyChat
- What it is:
- A tool for building chat automations, mainly for Instagram, and also Messenger, TikTok and WhatsApp.
- Price:
- A free plan; Essential $14 and Pro $29 a month billed annually, by active contacts.
- WhatsApp:
- Per ManyChat, WhatsApp is available only on Pro accounts; after connecting, conversations are not visible in the WhatsApp Business app on the phone, and they recommend a new number.
8. WhatsApp Business automated messages
- What it is:
- A greeting message, an away message and quick replies, inside the free app. Fixed text: it does not answer the question itself or book an appointment.

Five questions to ask any vendor
- Real Hebrew? Take ten real messages from last month — slang, typos and a voice note — and test every tool on them during its trial.
- An official connection? Unofficial apps break WhatsApp's Terms of Service, and per WhatsApp an account using them may be banned. The ways to build a bot.
- What happens when the bot does not know? Does it make something up, say it has no information, or pass the question to a member of the team — and how does the team see it?
- Who pays Meta's charges? The platform subscription and Meta's message charges are sometimes two separate bills. The costs, broken down.
- Does the existing number stay? And if so, does the WhatsApp Business app on the phone keep working, or do you move to a new number?

Which WhatsApp bot is recommended for businesses in Israel?

Is there a Hebrew WhatsApp bot that books appointments?
Yes, several. Ariko books, cancels and moves appointments in Google Calendar; DanAI says it books meetings in Google Calendar; Gambot lists appointment scheduling among its features; and WhatsApp's Help Center documents connecting Meta Business Agent to Google Calendar — where it is available.
What is the difference between an AI agent and a flow bot?
In a flow bot you build every path in advance — buttons, questions and answers — and it answers what was planned. An AI agent reads the business's information and answers questions nobody built a path for, which is why it matters what it does when the answer is not written down.
Is Meta Business Agent available in Israel?
Per WhatsApp's Help Center it is currently available only to select businesses in limited countries, and the language is set by the phone number. We found no Meta source saying whether Israel and Hebrew are among them. Check the app: if there is no "AI agent" in the Tools tab, it is not available to your business yet.
How much does a WhatsApp bot cost in Israel?
Entry prices on the Israeli platforms in this list are Gambot from ₪179 and DanAI from ₪500 a month, and 14 to 79 dollars on the international tools — and Meta's message charges usually come on top. Can I keep my existing WhatsApp number?
With Ariko, yes, if the number is on the WhatsApp Business app: you connect by scanning a QR code and the app keeps working. Per WATI, you delete the WhatsApp account on the number before connecting; ManyChat recommends a new number.
