A WhatsApp bot for law firms and accountants
A WhatsApp bot for a law or accounting firm answers enquirers 24/7 on the repeats — practice areas, first meetings, documents to bring and price, if you wrote it — and books a consultation in Google Calendar. Ariko gives no legal or professional advice: you add a rule that sends every such question to your team.

What enquirers write — and what the bot does with it
- "Do you handle divorce? And wills?"
- The firm's practice areas, who handles what, and which cities you have offices in — whatever you wrote, the bot answers. For an area that is not on your list, it does not invent one.
- "What do I need to bring for my annual return?"
- A document list per service — form 106, bank certificates, receipts — is exactly what a bot answers well, if you uploaded it as a file or wrote it in the firm's information.
- "Can I get a consultation this week?"
- The bot offers only free times in the firm's Google Calendar, by the meeting length you set, and books. If you like, each meeting waits for your approval first.
- "How much does it cost?"
- If you wrote a price for a first meeting or a given service, the bot answers. If it depends on the case, write that, and the bot offers to set up a meeting.
- "I got a letter from the tax authority, what do I do?"
- That is a professional question, and it is not a bot's. You write a rule that sends every legal, tax or existing-case question to a member of your team, and check in the test chat that it does.
What it looks like in a chat
An illustration: a fictional accounting firm, not a real customer. Its rules say "do not give tax advice".
Worth knowing first
- It is not an adviser. Ariko answers the firm's admin — services, documents, meetings — and gives no legal, tax or accounting advice. You write the rule that sends such questions to your team.
- Do not ask for sensitive details in the chat. Conversations are stored in the system, and you can set how long until they are deleted. Documents and case details are better received through the firm's own channel. Security and privacy.
- One calendar per firm. The bot books meetings in one connected Google Calendar. If each partner has their own calendar, talk to us first.
- On your website too. On paid plans the same bot also answers in the firm's website chat. A chatbot for your website.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a WhatsApp bot for a firm cost?
You build the bot and talk to it in the test chat on the Free plan, $0 — No WhatsApp connection. WhatsApp and website chat open on paid plans: Start $99 a month (1,000 messages, up to 2 users), Plus $149, Pro $199 and Max $399. Prices exclude VAT and are charged in shekels, and Meta's message charges are included. Full details on pricing.
Will the bot give legal or tax advice?
It should not, so you say so explicitly: in the rules field you write that every professional question goes to the team. The rules are part of Ariko's instructions in every conversation, and you check the result in the test chat.
Can consultations be booked from WhatsApp?
Yes, in Google Calendar. The bot offers only free times, books, cancels and moves, and can hold each meeting for your approval.
What happens when someone wants to talk to the lawyer?
When a customer asks for a person, the bot stops answering in that chat and you get a notification. When the bot does not know something, it says a member of the team can answer and offers to pass it on; when the customer agrees, the question reaches you. And you can take over any chat from the inbox at any moment and hand it back when you are done.
Can I keep the firm's WhatsApp number?
Yes, if the number is on the WhatsApp Business app. On a paid plan you connect it from the dashboard — log in with the Facebook account that manages the business and scan a QR code — and the app on your phone keeps working as before.
How does the bot know what the firm does?
From what you give it: what you write in the business settings, files you upload (PDF, Excel, CSV, Word or text, up to 20MB), and pages and products from your website — none of which is used until you approve it. It does not guess what is not there.
